Livestock Environmental Initiative

Funded through Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's Canadian Adaptation and Rural Development (CARD) program, and delivered through the Canadian Pork Council, the Livestock Environmental Initiative (LEI) was designed to provide the livestock industry with information on scientifically verified, environmental management practices. LEI facilitates the development of research and technology, as well as information transfer. The program's emphasis is on promoting technologies and management practices that are technically ready for on-farm application.
